Case Management 2 – Youth Development
Case Management 2 is a full day workshop that will assist participants in understanding youth program research and emerging best practices. Youth services grounded in a developmental approach helped young people acquire the academic and work-readiness skills and personal attributes sought by employers. Day Two covers how to approach Youth Development.
Learning Objectives
Following the session, participants will be able to:
- Define Youth Development.
- The Role of the Case Manager.
- The developmental needs and tasks of youth;
- Assets/factors that address these needs.
- Characteristics of programs and activities based on youth development principles; and measurements of the desired youth development outcomes.
